The Mighty Coe

On Saturday Prince B an I headed back to Glencoe mountain for the MIghty Coe Festival, the UK’s first on snow festival. I was really excited to go to this as I knew it would have a super chilled atmosphere. I ate hotdogs, drank hot chocolate, listened to tunes and absorbed the atmosphere.

A really important element of the festival is the support for POW International. POW brings awareness of climate change and how that change is affecting outdoor pursuits, such as snowboarding, because without snow we have no snow pursuits. POW was at the festival all weekend, bringing awareness to these immediate issues and how we can all play a part in helping slow down the destruction of our climate.

I’m hoping this won’t be the first and last Mighty Coe festival as I’m already excited for next year’s.
