Don’t worry I’ve had a word with myself…

When I first had a look at these vases my first thought was - “oh wow, just look at the purity of those lines”

My second thought was - “get a grip of yourself, don’t talk like that, you’re not an architect!”

My third thought was -” fuck it, no matter how you say it, those are some mighty fine looking vases”

These are Roman vases from the glorious polspotten.

Each vase is handcrafted from robust iron, with a surprisingly soft appearance. Powder-coated in soothing contemporary hues and finished with a unique texture.

The old expression ‘Less is More’ was never more evident and true when you look at these.

The shape, the colour, the calming lack of ornament ( yes I  know how amusing it is for me to to be waxing lyrical about lack of ornament) all combine to create a simple and harmonious form.

They also come in a set of 3 which somehow look more  Roman must be that amphora shape but I’m not so keen on the colour way. Needles to say they are a bit pricey at 215 Euros for set of 4.

I could also take or leave them in the back. Not very often I say that…
