Harnessing joy...

There is nothing Queen Michelle loves more than a leather harness. Although it would be fair to say that the bindings that she loves most right now are related to snowboard boots and boards but I have no doubt that these pieces would spark a little joy in her heart.

YVY was founded by designer Yvonne Reichmuth in 2014 in Zurich, Switzerland, creating seasonal-independent designs where traditional craftsmanship meets innovation.

Away from mass production toward skillfully developed pieces of art; YVY stands for selected materials and high quality throughout the entirety of manufacturing. Detailed tracery, lacing and delicate rivets, combined with carefully crafted cuts, melt into transcendental pieces of craftsmanship.

The brand produces ready-to-wear accessories such as wallets, belts, jewellery and hats in addition to bespoke harnesses and clothing, which are predominantly made from leather. From the beginning YVY has worked seasonless, with the aim of creating classics that are an investment for years and thanks to the carefully selected Italian leather only become more beautiful with age.

This also allows them to reduce material waste and allow designs to be continuously refined.

The leather is sourced from byproducts of the food industry, with the brand also offer non-animal alternatives on a case-by-case basis to cater to all client requirements.
